As a service to foreign guests, tonight’s performance of Richard III in de SSBA will be surtitled in English. (www.ssba.nl)
The surtitles will also be transmitted on wifi as an experiment and can be received on iPhones and iPod Touchs.
To receive the titles on your device, first download the “Simultext” app from the App Store.
Then in the auditorium connect by wireless to the “Figaro” access point.
Start Simultext and the device should connect to the In-Ovation software used for the surtitles. (A green dot bottom right means you are connected.)
When titling starts, pressing the screen toggles between English, Dutch and no titles.
